How much fiber do I need to send?

For a sample skein, 8 oz clean is a good starting point. Most customers send 3–20 lb greasy weight per project.

How much will my greasy weight lose in washing?

Typical yield after washing is 55–75% of greasy weight, depending on breed and how much lanolin, dirt, and vegetable matter are present.

How long does an order take?

Usually 6–14 weeks from arrival, depending on queue and complexity. We keep you posted throughout.

Do you dye?

We spin and finish in the fiber's natural color. Many customers dye at home; we're happy to spin light or bright naturals as a base. We also work with a local dye artist — if you want something dyed, just let us know and we'll connect you.

Can you keep multiple fleeces separate?

Yes — just label clearly and let us know. There's a small per-batch fee to run small lots individually.

What if you notice a problem with my fleece?

We stop and get in touch before doing anything irreversible. You always make the call.
